I had the pleasure of photographing author Jane Cody last year when she was preparing to publish her book, “Birthing Eternity.” I have personally known Jane for several years and find her to be quite fascinating for several reasons. First of all, she is just genuinely “nice.”
She is the kind of person you’d be happy to call your friend.
Jane likes to grow vegetable gardens, an interest I also have, so we sometimes compare what we have planted and how they are growing. And then, of course share recipes and samples of our harvest. When I visited her at her home in Spokane for the first time, I found a most wonderful landscaped yard full of interesting plants.
Jane not only grows gardens, but plants “seeds” in the hearts and minds of the people that she teaches. She has advanced degrees in history and education, has taught Bible classes for many years, as well as home-schooled her two sons.
Jane’s book, “Birthing Eternity” is now on the market, and has been on the Publisher’s Bestseller List for several weeks! She will be having a book signing this Saturday, August 17th at the Eastside Barnes & Noble in Spokane Valley Market Pointe I Shopping Center, 15310 E. Indiana. Stop by and meet Jane anytime between 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. She will talk about her book and sign copies of “Birthing Eternity”. Jane says “This is an exciting time for Christians everywhere to come together and be united as we await the Bridegroom. I believe this book will encourage you and make you stronger in the hope we have in Christ during these troubling times and will help explain, through a history narrative, what we see unfolding today. Let us not grow wearing in preaching the good news!”
I believe, as Jane does, that we can find hope and personal peace in our lives by exercising our trust and faith in Jesus Christ. All the best to you, Jane, and your new book, “Birthing Eternity.”
