Human Nature...Mother Nature

About Me

Welcome and thanks for visiting my website!

Let me introduce myself with a snapshot of words about my life:

I have thoroughly enjoyed engaging myself in the world of photography for a long time. In 2011 I turned my passion into a part-time business, focusing on people and nature. I am also Box Office Manager over Ticketing Services in Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. How grateful I am to work in such a beautifully restored, historic masterpiece, home of the Spokane Symphony. I love classical music, play the piano, and find working with people in every aspect of my job there very rewarding. I feel good music elevates my creativity; I am a better person, a better photographer for it. What a pleasure to have worked with the Spokane Symphony and The Fox for the past 26 years. Some of my images have been selected for Spokane Symphony brochures, email blasts, grant proposals, and social media. Other clients I have assisted include Connoisseur Concerts, Spokane Youth Ballet, and individuals and families like yourself.

I have been a member of Spokane Valley Camera Club (SVCC) since 2008, often submitting my images for judging and critique, and served as print chairman for 4 years.

My husband, Gayle, and I are the parents of 7 wonderful children and 16 adorable grandchildren. They all have been my greatest support and are congenial with my ideas about capturing memories of them with the camera. Our son Matthew passed away in 2006 and I have since lost both of my parents and other loved ones. It has changed me…I am passionate about capturing the pictures and stories that testify of life lived, preserving, and sharing them. I encourage everyone to be generous with hugs, say “I love you” more often, and record the stories of your life in a meaningful way for your family. I believe this is one of the greatest gifts you can leave for your posterity.

The Canon 5D Mark lll is my camera of choice and I use Canon lenses exclusively.

I would love the opportunity to meet with you, hear your story, and envision how I might assist you with a photographic need.

I wish you the peace found in this Irish Prayer:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Thanks again for visiting!
